Safe and Trusted Canada creates and maintains Information Only Profiles using publicly available business information. Safe and Trusted Canada goes beyond business names, reviews, and star ratings. Consumers can find Canadian businesses by location, category, services, and credentials, including licensing, liability insurance and WCB coverage where applicable. A business owner or authorized representative may request removal of an Information Only Profile at any time. Business owners may also manage their listing at no charge through a free Basic Account. The Basic Account provides a username and password, giving the business owner control of the information displayed in the listing and the ability to keep it up to date. Every business listed on Safe and Trusted Canada appears in its provincial trade area. Example: a hotel in Alberta will be seen in Alberta. Consumers can still search by city and town. Basic, Plus, Standard and Advanced Accounts receive placement in their Provincial Trade Area and one Local Trade Area. Extended Visibility Options are available for $199 per year for Standard, Advanced, and Professional subscriptions. 

• Basic: 1 Primary Category + up to 5 Subcategories + 1 City or Town + 1 Provincial + 1 Local = 2 Trade Areas

• Plus: Up to 2 Primary Categories + up to 20 Subcategories + 1 City or Town + 1 Provincial + 1 Local = 2 Trade Areas

• Standard: Up to 3 Primary Categories + up to 30 Subcategories + up to 5 Cities or Towns + 1 Provincial + 1 Local + 3 additional with Extended Visibility = 5 Trade Areas

• Advanced: Up to 4 Primary Categories + up to 40 Subcategories + up to 10 Cities or Towns + 1 Provincial + 1 Local + 3 additional with Extended Visibility = 5 Trade Areas

• Professional: Up to 5 Primary Categories + up to 60 Subcategories + up to 20 Cities or Towns + 1 Provincial + 3 Local + 3 additional with Extended Visibility = 7 Trade Areas

Extended Visibility costs $199 per year and is available only with Standard, Advanced, and Professional subscriptions. Extended Visibility also provides the business as a Featured Listing. 

The Provincial Trade Area is automatically based on the business's home province. If you are a contractor, the additional trade areas must be in your home province. If you are a business that serves all of Canada, additional trade areas may be selected elsewhere in Canada. All businesses are listed by subscription type and activation date.  Additional Trade Areas are not fixed and may be moved at any time by the owner of the business through account access.
