The Safe and Trusted Canada website is presented in English. You may use your browser's translation feature to view the website in your preferred language. Safe and Trusted Canada creates and maintains Information Only Profiles using publicly available business information. Safe and Trusted Canada goes beyond business names, reviews, and star ratings. Consumers can find Canadian businesses by location, category, services, and credentials, including licensing, liability insurance and WCB coverage where applicable. Business profiles may also include images, videos, documents, promotions and employment opportunities with direct links to the business website. See More About Safe and Trusted Canada

A business owner or authorized representative may request removal of an Information Only Profile at any time. Business owners may also manage their listing at no charge through a free Basic Account. The Basic Account provides a username and password, giving the business owner control of the information displayed in the listing and the ability to keep it up to date. Consumers can search for a business by business location, phone number, city, credentials, and more.   See the YouTube Video

Business Detail

Boissevain is a town in Manitoba of just under 1,500 people near the North Dakota border. It is notable for its proximity to the International Peace Garden, a short drive south on Highway 10. The town also displays a number of wall murals as a tourist attraction. The town was named after Adolphe Boissevain who helped finance the Canadian Pacific Railway.

While the agriculture industry continues to be the cornerstone of southwestern Manitoba’s economy, the region is committed to finding new ways of being progressive in our economic development.

Boissevain’s industrial park offers a variety of sites serviced with three phase power and natural gas for expanding new businesses.

Tourism is a rapidly growing industry in the area. Drawing on the

unspoiled natural beauty of the Turtle Mountains, travelers from Canada and the United States enjoy the area year-round.

Along with a strong industrial base comes a thriving retail sector. Boissevain offers all the amenities needed to lead a comfortable lifestyle, and the surrounding municipality also boasts a number of large agriculture-based businesses.

The Turtle Mountain Adult Ed Center offers a variety of programs for mature

students. This is also the home of Campus Manitoba, distance post secondary education from Brandon University, University of Manitoba and

University of Winnipeg.

The town boasts well maintained playgrounds, heated outdoor pool, a beautiful grass green nine hole golf course, five pin bowling alley, curling rink, hockey arena, outdoor skating rink, fitness centre, and walking trails. The Recreation Office offers a host of activites and programs for all ages and levels of interest and ability.

Health care services including doctor services are available at the Boissevain Health Centre. The acute care facility offers emergency medical services. Attached to the hospital is a personal care home and the Westview Lodge provides care for our aging residents.

Boissevain and the surrounding Rural Municipality of Morton have the quality of life most people are looking for – low crime rates, low taxes, quiet neighbourhoods, fresh clean air and little or no commute to work.

If this is the kind of place you would like to establish roots … welcome home. There is a place for you in the Boissevain area.
