The Safe and Trusted Canada website is presented in English. You may use your browser's translation feature to view the website in your preferred language. Safe and Trusted Canada creates and maintains Information Only Profiles using publicly available business information. Safe and Trusted Canada goes beyond business names, reviews, and star ratings. Consumers can find Canadian businesses by location, category, services, and credentials, including licensing, liability insurance and WCB coverage where applicable. Business profiles may also include images, videos, documents, promotions and employment opportunities with direct links to the business website. See More About Safe and Trusted Canada
A business owner or authorized representative may request removal of an Information Only Profile at any time. Business owners may also manage their listing at no charge through a free Basic Account. The Basic Account provides a username and password, giving the business owner control of the information displayed in the listing and the ability to keep it up to date. See Your Profile Options as a Business.
Consumers can search for a business by business location, phone number, city, or trade area, credentials, and more. See the YouTube Video
Please note that only businesses with business subscriptions will be seen in cities or towns. All other information-only profiles will be seen in the closest trade area to their city or town.
Business Detail
Teulon is a community located approximately 60 kilometers north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on Provincial Truck Highway 7. Located between Stonewall and Gimli, Teulon is commonly referred to as "The Gateway to the Interlake" and "The Petunia Capital of Manitoba". Teulon is surrounded by the rural municipality of Rockwood. It's current population (as of January 2008) stands at 1124. Since Teulon is surrounded by prime agricultural land, the Agriculture Industry is both a historic and present-day driving force behind the Teulon economy. Teulon is a business centre for the surrounding area's diverse agricultural activities. A number of seasonal berry and vegetable farms supply farmer's markets and provide U-Pick operations. The Building Industry is another important facet in the Teulon economy. A number of contractors, supported by the building suppliers and implement dealers in Teulon, provide a range of services including building, electrical, construction, renovation, and agriculture-related work. Major Industries in Teulon include: Northern Goose and Vidir Teulon, a division of Vidir Machine Inc. Teulon has been known for it's Truck & Tractor Pull, along with the Demolition Derby, at the rodeo grounds contained within Green Acres Park. The contest brings out competitors from all over the country.
A short drive to Stonewall's "Quarry Days," Winnipeg Beach's "Boardwalk Days," and Gimli's "Icelandic Festival," children and "children at heart" of Teulon are able to take in many stops of the Manitoba travelling carnival, Wonder Shows. As well as their own at home version, known as "Teulon Dayz." Also nearby are Kinsmen Lake, Lake Winnipeg, and Norris Lake. Teulon residents enjoy the Teulon Golf & Country Club, Green Acres Park & Campground, Teulon Curling Club, Teulon Rockwood Arena, Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre, South Interlake Regional Library, Teulon and District Museum, amongst many other fine attractions.
