South Bruce Peninsula is a town at the base of the Bruce Peninsula of Ontario, Canada, in the County of Bruce between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. In the 2006 Statistics Canada Census the population of the town was8415 residents.

Wiarton Hospital provides emergency and ambulance services, there are eight general practitioners as well as chiropractics care, dentistry and optometry service. There are many parks and recreational opportunities within the municipality as well as a full range of clubs and organizations. There are extensive hiking camping, biking and snowmobiling facilities, curling and hockey arenas, tennis swimming pools and numerous ball parks.
The town of South Bruce Peninsula holds a variety of events and festival throughout the year , the most famous being the Wiarton Willie Festival. Other festivals and events include Sandfest, Rotary Village Fair, Purple Valley Maple Syrup Festival, Snow-a-rama/Ski-a-rama, the Wiarton and District Agricultural Society Fall Fair, multiple Santa Claus Parades and Canada Day festivities to name a few.
From the shores of Lake Huron to the shores of Georgian Bay, challenge the majestic escarpment by hiking the Bruce Trail, canoe the inland waterways, boat and fish the pristine waters or simply relax on the miles of sand beach at beautiful Sauble Beach.
