A business owner or authorized representative may request removal of an Information Only Profile at any time. Business owners may also manage their listing at no charge through a free Basic Account. The Basic Account provides a username and password, giving the business owner control of the information displayed in the listing and the ability to keep it up to date. To ensure accuracy, all businesses with an account have more control over what they offer. The number of primary categories and subcategories is limited.  As an example, the Primary Category may be hotels. Other Primary categories may be Accommodation and Travel; subcategories may be Hotels, Motels, and other amenities. All Users can manage their account.  Some Subscription types can link their website and profile through account access, giving the business greater marketing potential. They need to use the Embed Link from their account to complete the link.  Each Information Only profile will include a list of possible categories and subcategories that the business can add to its listing. Every business listed on Safe and Trusted Canada appears in its provincial trade area, city or town.  Example: a hotel in Alberta will be seen in Alberta. Consumers can still search by city and town. Basic, Plus, Standard and Advanced Accounts receive placement in their Provincial Trade Area and one Local Trade Area. Extended Visibility Options are available for $199 per year for Standard, Advanced, and Professional subscriptions.  Setup costs are free, and you'll instantly get in front of consumers ahead of everyone else except the business that asked first in your area and business category.  The business owner is always in control and can leave at any time. They have their own username and password.  We will flag and remove any business that violates our terms of use.

Extended Visibility costs $199 per year and is available only with Standard, Advanced, and Professional subscriptions. Extended Visibility also provides the business as a Featured Listing. 

The Provincial Trade Area is automatically based on the business's home province. If you are a contractor, the additional trade areas must be in your home province. If you are a business that serves all of Canada, additional trade areas may be selected elsewhere in Canada. All businesses are listed by subscription type and activation date. Additional Trade Areas are not fixed and may be moved at any time by the owner of the business through account access.
